Famous Beginnings

On August 15th of 1990, Bellini’s Ristorante & Grill opened for business, overlooking the duck pond at the Waterford Office Complex in Oklahoma City. From the beginning, our goal has been to offer you fresh, authentic Italian dishes, traditional American favorites, and current nouveau cuisines. With a varied wine list and delicious Mediterranean-inspired food, Bellini’s Ristorante & Grill quickly became an Oklahoma City favorite and remains popular to this day.

The Bar, the Bellini & Hemingway

The Bellini cocktail was created in 1948 by legendary bar man Harry Cipriani for his friend, Ernest Hemingway, at Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy. Originally made with fresh white peaches, cognac and champagne, the Bellini has gained popularity throughout the world with variations, including our Bellini made with peach nectar. While traveling through Italy with his family, owner Tommy Byrd’s first cab ride ended right outside Harry’s Bar! We have strived to continue Harry’s concept of excellent service and food. The Remodel

Bellini’s Ristorante & Grill recently underwent a total remodel, updating its previous Italian piazza look to a chic, modern interior. In little over a month, Bellini’s created a second entrance from the upper-level parking area, a new wraparound patio section overlooking the duck pond, new booths, private dining room and a brand new bar area complete with LED lighting.

Over the past fifteen years, Bellini’s has served a variety of public figures, including previous and current governors, NBA and NFL players, OU and OSU athletes. We have also served celebrities and musicians, including Paul McCartney, Tori Amos and Mick Jagger, who raved about our Cilantro Pesto linguine. When you dine at Bellini’s, you never know who you might be sitting next to!
